You get a plaque that is as unique as your set of antlers. Beginning with rough cut wood, we joint, glue (If necessary), cut, plane and edge your plaque. Then we stain the plaque with your choice of 4 colors. oak, golden oak, dark walnut, or red mahogany, to finish we put 2 coats of polyuerathane to ensure a durable finish. That's easy to care for and lasts a long time. After all, as-u-want it, is as you get it. All of our plaques are made from solid oak, and for an additional fee we can make your plaque from any wood species you choose. Choices! choices! choices!

ANTLER MOUNTING

Our main business is in antler mounting, an antler mount consists of placing the antler on a small plate and then setting them in plaster. As you know, each antler is different, with this in mind, all plaster is hand shaped to custom fit any antler, big or small. After we set the horns with plaster, we cover them with your choice of 9 colors of felt. We use felt because of its durability, making them easy to care for by using a feather duster. Currently these are the colors of felt we stock: Navy Blue, Black, Gray, Camouflage, Red, Cranberry, Denim Blue, Kelly Green, and Ruby. We've learned a little something after 11 years of doing antler mounts, the size of horns doesn't matter. Whether it's a 2 inch spike or a monster buck you ramboed due to an adrenaline overload. If you don't have it shoulder mounted, it's well worth while to have the horns mounted. To preserve that harvest you worked so hard for.
